Roof rack stability with trunk rack aerodynamics.
Slickrack was designed out of a need for a stable bike attachment that doesn't put undesirable
forces on high tech frames and wheel sets.
The roof rack has been the gold standard for high-end bike transportation for many years.
With the way fuel prices have been steadily increasing over the years the roof rack system
has taken a toll on the wallet. Not to mention the strain of getting the bikes up there.
The Slickrack fits a class 2 receiver (1 1/4") and holds two bikes with the front wheels removed.
The round carrying bars can slide and rotate with the three bolt clamp loosened to allow many
different options to stagger handlebars, pedals and fit the bikes tightly behind the car. The handle
allows the two-clamp assembly to be positioned at various angles to optimize the space between
the car bumper and maximum ground clearance.
Once the bikes are secured on the rack, the handle can be loosened and the rack and bikes
can then pivot down to allow trunk or hatchback access.
